Pretty Bayou Wastewater System

The scope of this project involved the construction of a sewer collection and transmission system within the existing Pretty Bayou residential community, which is currently served by individual on-lot septic systems. The design incorporates the use of a combination of low-pressure and gravity systems as well as multiple new lift stations to allow community residents to move from septic to public sewer service. This project will greatly increase the level of service to this waterfront community while significantly reducing the migration of septic leachate into the bayou over time, thus improving water quality in Pretty Bayou and St. Andrews Bay.
