Bay County Juvenile Justice Courthouse

This project included the construction of a new courthouse for Bay County. The building site is located at the existing County courthouse campus in downtown Panama City. The design included modifications to the existing parking lots, relocations and improvements to the existing utilities, and the construction of a new underground stormwater exfiltration system. Careful consideration was given to vehicular and pedestrian circulation at the site as this new courthouse was to be constructed while limiting disruptions to the existing courthouse building. Panhandle Engineering provided civil engineering, permitting, and construction administration services.
