Lynn Haven Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant

Unprecedented growth in the City in the early 2000’s drove the need for an expansion to the City’s Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility (AWTF). Phase 1 of this expansion project included improvements to the plant’s headworks and influent pump station while Phase 2 included major upgrades to the treatment facility’s capacity. Panhandle Engineering was the engineer of record for Phase 1 and was responsible for the design and permitting of the new headworks and influent pump station, which receives flows from 72 lift stations and 40 miles of force main.
