Jim Slonina P.E.

Mr. Slonina is the founder of Panhandle Engineering with over 40 years of project management & civil engineering experience. He has successfully held positions of increasing responsibility across an array of civil and infrastructure-related projects throughout his career working in the public and private sectors. His depth of experience includes environmental impact assessments, alignment evaluations, extensive dredge/fill permitting, major roadway design & permitting, project bidding, and construction administration. Mr. Slonina also has extensive experience in the design of large commercial and residential developments as well as coastal and marine related projects including new marinas, marina expansions, docking facilities, boat ramps, seawalls, travel lifts, boat storage structures, and associated dredging activities. In his role as Executive Director, Jim continues to be a source of leadership, mentoring, and project management at Panhandle Engineering. His involvement in the Bay County community and networking history in the Florida Panhandle remain key factors in the success of Panhandle Engineering.
