17th Street Drainage Improvements

To address an area of the City that had a history of flooding problems, specifically along the 17^th Street corridor, Lynn Haven hired Panhandle Engineering to analyze the conditions and develop and implement a design to improve drainage. The design included the replacement of the existing open, roadside ditch and undersized piping with double 8’x8’ box culverts along the affected length of 17^th Street. In addition to providing design, permitting, and construction administration services for the project, Panhandle Engineering was also instrumental in obtaining a $1M grant from the Florida Department of Transportation to help the City fund the project.
